Senior Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications
• Build and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and modern test libraries
• Perform end-to-end API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance of services
• Work closely with development and QA teams to define test requirements and create comprehensive test plans
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution
• Enhance automation frameworks to improve scalability, stability, and test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations on quality testability and automation best practices
• Execute functional regression, smoke, and integration test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation during test cycles
• Contribute actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams

Required Skills

• Handson experience in automation testing with strong expertise in Java
• Hands-on experience in Playwright or Selenium for UI automation
• Playwright preferred
• Strong proficiency in API automation using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent
• Good understanding of testing principles, automation strategy, and best practices
• Experience with test management tools JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.
• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for database testing
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Experience working on complex projects in an Agile environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
