Senior Quality Engineer
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products.
- Having the opportunity to design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment, and finished products.
- Encouraging applications from individuals with skills or experiences such as:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related specialized field, or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of engineering methodologies, tools, and standards across software, electrical, systems, or related disciplines
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, EIA, and related quality standards
- Experience using relevant inspection, measurement, and testing tools and techniques
- Experience reviewing technical documents, drawings, and instructions for conformance to requirements
