Senior Quality Control Technician

About the role

The Senior Quality Control Technician ensures finished instruments and accessories meet specified requirements using established engineering/quality procedures and principles. This role is part of the Quality & Regulatory Affairs organization in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

• Ensure finished products and records (Device History Records) meet all requirements prior to release.
• Record quality data, including summarization of records of conformance and/or non-conformance, into the applicable database.
• Clearly communicate and/or escalate identified concerns or opportunities for improvement to cross-functional team members and management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / Equivalent with 5+ years of quality control/inspection or testing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Inclusive of creating records in compliance with good documentation practices.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints or other specification documents (such as control plans, work instructions, and/or procedures).
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, pin gages, surface plate and height stand, and other traditional inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Skills

• Experience in biomedical research instrument or medical device manufacturing (ISO 13485).
• Experience with Oracle as an ERP and IQVIA as an eQMS.
