Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Construction

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, manage, and enforce Wilhelm's Quality Assurance Program for assigned project(s) to prevent quality issues, make observations, identify potential issues, and implement corrective plans.
• Develop and/or assist in developing a QA/QC program that meets each project's and/or owner's contractual requirements.
• Ensure all subcontractors and personnel understand the project and manufacturer's requirements.
• Manage self-perform and subcontracted work through Project Specific Quality Plans, including Inspection and Test Plans, checklists, training, and mock-ups.
• Perform onsite field observations of in-progress and installed work, covering civil, structural, enclosure, interiors, MEP systems, etc.
• Record observations from job site inspections, complete inspection reports, and recommend/implement corrective actions based on policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of general construction experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5+ years of general construction work experience is acceptable.
• OSHA 30-hour certification preferred but not required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Procore or other Construction Quality Software.
• Experience with Primavera P6 Scheduling Software.
• Intermediate knowledge of Viewpoint and Bluebeam.
