Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

A Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality software products. This individual will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects, and will document test cases and results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance engineering
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or PyTest
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques
• Experience with source control systems like Git
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with database testing and SQL
• Understanding of security testing principles and practices
• Experience with performance testing tools

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
