Senior QA Manager, GMP GxP Auditing & Vendor Management

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior QA Manager GMP Gxp Auditing & Vendor Management to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will manage sourcing and supplier priorities that improve value, reliability, and operational performance. You will partner with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to negotiate effectively, manage vendors, and support better purchasing decisions. The position offers the opportunity to improve cost discipline, supplier performance, and the processes that support scalable execution within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee GxP internal and external audits, including reporting and follow-up actions
• Maintain and manage audit schedules for both internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP in partnerships with suppliers
• Oversee GxP vendor/supplier management to ensure adherence to regulations and internal standards
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to create Quality Agreements
• Perform Risk Assessments and qualifications for suppliers and contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs)
• Generate tools to enhance compliance, consistency, and efficiency in auditing and vendor management

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/Biotech experience; 5+ years as a GMP Lead Auditor required
• 5 years of experience in QTA and Supplier Quality Management
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent certifications preferred
• Proven leadership and people management skills essential
• Experience with Quality System electronic databases necessary
• Strong written, oral communication, and negotiation skills required

Pay

$150,000 – $189,000 annually
