Senior QA Engineer

About the role

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test scripts, executing manual tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools
• Execute manual testing to identify defects and bugs in software products
• Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and design test cases accordingly
• Document test plans, results, and issues found during testing
• Collaborate with other QA engineers and product managers to improve testing processes and methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA engineering, preferably in a technical environment
• Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
• Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL
• Experience with defect tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla
