Senior QA Automation Test Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated Senior PEGA RPG QA Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a telecommute contract position with work hours from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops moderately complex automated test scripts using automation tools and scripting tools, refining the acceptance criteria into automated acceptance test cases/scripts.
• Executes automated test scripts and individual tests in support of IT changes to business processes.
• Conducts test automation code reviews and evangelizes test automation best practices to the entire engineering organization.
• Attends and actively participates in all Agile Scrum ceremonies, including:
  • Daily Stand-Up meetings
  • Sprint Planning
  • Backlog Refinement/Grooming
  • Sprint Reviews/Demos
  • Sprint Retrospectives
• Provides status updates on assigned work items.
• Collaborates with team members to identify and remove impediments.
• Owns quality throughout the Sprint.
• Develops and executes comprehensive test coverage.
• Supports production readiness and deployments.
• Performs defect management and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 4-6 years of related experience. Equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.

Skills

• Knowledge of test automation.
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies.

Pay

$49.66 - $59.66 per hour
