SENIOR QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in developing and scaling AI-driven automated test solutions for web and API applications. You’ll work on a modern, scalable stack with a strong emphasis on AI integration, CI/CD efficiency, and high-performance automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable automated test suites for web and API applications using Playwright and Node.js.
• Accelerate test lifecycle efficiency by leveraging GitHub Copilot, Cursors, and GenAI for script generation and optimization.
• Arcitect and manage environment-specific configurations using dotenv for secure and flexible testing across stages.
• Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines across platforms like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with developers to define automation strategies, performing root cause analysis and database validation using SQL.
• Drive the adoption of AI-powered tools to improve test coverage and intelligent test selection.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
• Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
• Proven experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Strong background in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or GraphQL).
• Experience with Git and modern DevOps workflows.

Qualifications

• Based in the Czech Republic with the ability to overlap with US hours (2-6pm CET).
