Senior QA Automation Developer (HELOC)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior QA Automation Developer (HELOC) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on strengthening automated quality practices across feature delivery, production stability, and fast-moving microservices environments. The ideal candidate will partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve test coverage, accelerate issue resolution, and support reliable releases. This position also leverages AI-enabled workflows to streamline testing and build reusable knowledge assets. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation aligned with feature development
• Utilize AI tools to streamline testing processes and create knowledge assets
• Define AI-driven workflows for automated feature testing
• Execute tests in dynamic environments using microservices architecture
• Optimize and patch production services and infrastructure
• Automate troubleshooting of production issues for quicker resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on test automation solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation, preferably in banking or the financial sector
• Proficiency in Java and test automation tools like Selenium and Playwright
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and analyzing logs
• Agile methodology knowledge and experience

Pay

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
