Senior Python Engineer at SFORCE IT

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, test, deploy, and implement enterprise applications in distributed, service-oriented environments.
• Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, functions, and perform performance tuning.
• Develop applications, automation scripts, and data processing solutions using Python.
• Design, develop, and deploy applications on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (preferred).
• Work with workflow orchestration and ETL tools like Apache Airflow or similar platforms.
• Develop REST APIs, integrate third-party applications, and work within a microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, use Git, and follow DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development teams with strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in enterprise application development in distributed, service-oriented environments.
• 1-2 years of hands-on development experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• 3-5 years of hands-on development experience with Python for application development, automation, and data processing.
• 1-3 years of experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
