Job Description Job Title : Senior Python Backend Engineer FastAPI & Network Automation Job Type : C2C / W2 Experience : 8-15 Years Location : Dallas, Texas (Hybrid) Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to build scalable APIs and microservices supporting enterprise network and cloud infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate has strong Python fundamentals and experience developing reliable distributed backend services. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain Python backend applications, microservices, and REST APIs using FastAPI and Pydantic.Build automated workflows for network provisioning, configuration management, and cloud infrastructure.Integrate services with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Kafka, and external platforms.Implement reliable error handling, retries, timeouts, idempotency, and failure recovery.Develop automated tests using Pytest and support CI/CD pipelines.Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability. Required Skills And Experience Strong proficiency in Python 3.x, OOP, data structures, and algorithms.Hands-on experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, Pydantic, and asynchronous programming.Knowledge of multithreading, multiprocessing, and AsyncIO.Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake integrations.Understanding of Kafka, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.Proficiency in Pytest, unit testing, integration testing, and mocking.Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.Familiarity with enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, and network automation. Qualification Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
