CLA is currently seeking a Property Tax Senior to join our State & Local Tax (SALT) practice.
How you'll create opportunities in this role
- Review fixed asset detail documents submitted by clients required for property tax renditions
- Work with client and property tax team to resolve identified data issues
- Receive training on Avalara software
- Utilize Avalara to prepare and review property tax renditions
- Work with clients from multiple industries, including but not limited to Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail & Healthcare
- Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed
- Review and resolve property tax notices received from Assessors
- Identify discrepancies where filing an appeal may be required
- Develop and train team associates and interns to help them build inspired careers
- Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results
What you will need
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years' of relevant experience required
- Experience in business consulting or services preferred
- CPA eligible preferred
Compensation
The compensation range for this position in California is: $87,000.00 – $146,000.00. The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $74,000.00 – $126,000.00. The compensation range for this position in Washington is: $80,000.00 – $136,000.00.
