Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements schedules and reports for a portfolio of assigned properties.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable activities while maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Assist with budgeting initiatives, cash flow reporting, and financial planning activities.
  • Support month end close processes and provide financial information to internal stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of property accounting experience within a real estate environment.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and property level accounting practices.
  • Use Excel effectively and work comfortably with property accounting systems and financial software.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support operational and business decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding accounting matters.
