Job Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements schedules and reports for a portfolio of assigned properties.
- Perform bank reconciliations and review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable activities while maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Assist with budgeting initiatives, cash flow reporting, and financial planning activities.
- Support month end close processes and provide financial information to internal stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of property accounting experience within a real estate environment.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and property level accounting practices.
- Use Excel effectively and work comfortably with property accounting systems and financial software.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
