Role and Responsibilities
- Professionally represent the company as the primary interface with the Owner and the Design Team.
- Collaborate with the estimating team during the bidding and preconstruction phases of projects.
- Management of all project team members, including project managers, project engineers, superintendents, and interns.
- Mentor, develop, and train team members for growth.
- Accountable for project completion and financial success.
- Research and recommend a resolution for document interpretation issues, potential conflicts, and errors.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Requirements
- A four-year degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience in Project Management for Commercial Construction projects between $30 Million and $80 Million in value.
- The ability to manage and mentor three to five Project Managers or Project Engineers that oversee the daily operations of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of complex building systems.
- Proven success with shepherding design-build projects from the RFQ process through final closeout documents.
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Experience using web-based Project Management Solutions, preferably Procore.
- Experience using Project Scheduling Software.
- Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects in various stages of the construction process.
Pay
$98,000 - $148,000/annum
