About the role

Lead mechanical project teams in heavy industrial settings, overseeing design, construction, and commissioning phases. Manage cross-functional teams and ensure project milestones are met within budget and scope.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical projects from concept through completion
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
  • Manage project budgets and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and conflict resolution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical project management
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Qualifications

  • Experience with heavy industrial machinery and equipment
  • Knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Pay

  • $100,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule
