Senior Project Manager | Water & Wastewater

About the role

The Senior Project Manager | Water & Wastewater at HRG is responsible for managing environmental water/wastewater projects, preparing project designs and reports, preparing and administering construction contracts, managing financial resources and project profitability, completing project permitting requirements, client relationship management and development activities, and providing project review, QA/QC, and compliance to client specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing environmental water/wastewater projects
• Preparing project designs and reports
• Preparing and administering construction contracts
• Managing financial resources and project profitability
• Completing project permitting requirements
• Client relationship management and development activities
• Communicating with other HRG staff as needed to ensure projects are completed timely and on budget
• Providing project review, QA/QC and compliance to client specific requirements
• Assisting with staff training
• Providing recommendations to supervisor regarding staffing requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with environmental emphasis
• Pennsylvania P.E. licensure
• 10+ years' project experience involving:
• Design of water distribution and treatment systems
• Wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems and processes
• Hydraulics
• On lot systems
• Environmental assessments

Minimum 5-10 years project management experience

• Ability to provide timely project deliverables
• Develop and maintain excellent client satisfaction

Previous experience with

• Computer modeling of water systems
• Hydraulic design software
• PA DEP regulations

Full knowledge of

• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Variety of engineering applications

Qualifications

• Team player possessing strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays (Valid US Driver’s License is required)

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience with Deltek Vantagepoint
• Previous marketing experience
