Senior Project Manager/Solution Architect SAP TM (Transportation Management)

About the role

The Senior Project Manager/Solution Architect SAP TM (Transportation Management) will play a pivotal role in the realization of challenging SAP rollouts and projects as part of the Global SAP team. They will lead SAP TM projects from initiation to successful completion, manage timelines, budgets, and quality, and ensure alignment with project targets and efficient resource utilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP TM projects from initiation to successful completion.
• Manage expectations on the development of solid project plans, with milestones and clear deliverables (in IT and business terms), handling risks, issues, and objections.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and quality without compromise.
• Shape group-wide digitalization initiatives and translate concepts into solutions that simplify and strengthen core business processes.
• Define, orchestrate, and steer essential work packages across diverse cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project targets and efficient resource utilization.
• Manage overall services relationships end-to-end, steering committees and project office, between Sika, Sika partner, and Central SAP template team.
• Ensure transparency and rigorous risk management.
• Secure alignment across senior stakeholders and anchor delivered solutions sustainably in the organization.
• Hand-on approach on SAP TM suite.
• Vigilantly secure robust change, quality, and risk management protocols within all assigned projects, mitigating potential disruptions and upholding standards.

Qualifications

• Worked as project manager in SAP Transportation Management initiative for at least 3-5 years.
• Experience in planning various phases of TM implementation from project initiation, Fit gap, Build, Testing, Go live, and hypercare support.
• Well-versed with various features, cutover tasks, and business activities required for the successful completion of the SAP TM implementation/rollout project.
• Strong communicator at multiple levels of the organization with strong and clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Transportation Management module.
• Show empathy and resilience, and take responsibility when the situation becomes demanding.
• Readiness to travel extensively.
• Fluent in English; any additional language (e.g., Spanish) is welcomed.

Pay

Salary range: $140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus
