About the role

The Senior Project Manager oversees project setup, implementation, and execution through completion of construction and/or qualification. They assist the PDS Market Lead and Senior Leadership in establishing and refining best practices of standards and excellence, and inform the Manager or Market Lead of all project, internal, and client issues affecting Cushman & Wakefield's perception and reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to project strategy development with Directors and executes within Cushman & Wakefield and client's business units.
  • Manages overall project cost, schedule, risk, and scope execution, developing project charters and execution plans.
  • Organizes people and resources, operating within offices or departments.
  • Implements plans while providing construction cost and benefit analysis as required.
  • Oversees project implementation and execution through completion of construction.
  • Works with the owner team on operational readiness plans.
  • Prepares various RFQs and/or RFPs for vendor and contractor services for the complete project.
  • Reviews subcontract proposals and related pricing and scoping.
  • Negotiates contracts and performance management with selected contracted vendors, consultants, etc.
  • Reviews, comments, validates, and audits cost estimates prepared by contractors.
  • Develops and owns the Master Project Schedule; actively tracks project performance against schedules and critical path.
  • Guides clients and teams through the design implementation, procurement, and construction process.
  • Leads project client-facing meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated advanced project management skills and understanding of project management principles.
  • Ability to support and/or lead business development initiatives as assigned or requested.
  • History in client relations, client management, contract negotiations, and consulting skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate analyzed data to clients and project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural/engineering drawings and construction concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience within the construction industry required, with additional preference for life sciences or high-tech manufacturing experience.
  • Exemplary communication skills – both oral and written.

The compensation for the position is: $102,000.00 - $120,000.00.
