Senior Project Manager/Practice Builder, Healthcare Development

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our healthcare practice.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Manage and provide oversight for healthcare development projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and continual learning by providing training opportunities in the office.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure professional growth and project success.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions to identify potential opportunities for the practice.
  • Adapt strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to win new business and secure project opportunities.
  • Work closely with other practice builders and teams across the company to leverage resources and expertise, ensuring comprehensive and innovative solutions for our clients.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field, and a Licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California.
  • Any advanced degree or professional certifications (PMP, AIA,DBIA etc.) are a plus.
  • 15 + years of experience, with at least 10 years working in healthcare planning, design, and construction, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and business development.
  • HCAi/OSHPD and Behavioral Health/DHCS experience is required.
  • Familiarity coordinating with project teams using 3D technologies such as Civil3D, Navisworks, and other BIM software is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Leverage existing relationships within the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business strategies, manage budgets, and achieve financial goals.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams across various disciplines.

Pay

Base Salary Range $150,000 - $260,000
Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
