Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder to expand their Land Development practice in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida!

Responsibilities

  • Leading a Land Development team
  • Building and managing relationships with key clients
  • Operating with integrity and sound business principles
  • Providing vision, business planning, and strategy
  • Establishing goals
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships
  • Having open communication with partners and team
  • Growing and leading a land development practice
  • Managing and directing projects profitably
  • Transferring work to qualified staff
  • Growing and mentoring staff
  • Acting as a positive leader and mentor
  • Enjoying a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business
  • Potential advancement to ownership

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and/or land owners
  • Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
  • Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
  • Able to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
