About the role
The successful candidate will manage public assistance grant projects, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and achieving project goals within budget and timeline.
Responsibilities
- Manage FEMA Public Assistance grant projects
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and state/local policies
- Oversee project planning, execution, and closeout
- Collaborate with stakeholders including FEMA, local government officials, and contractors
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction management or public works
- Experience with FEMA Public Assistance grants
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
