Senior Project Manager (M/F/D)*

Oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle

• Planner and overseer of multiple, concurrent automation projects
• Develops and manages project plans
• Designates project resources and prepares budgets
• Makes sure the engineering integrity of systems meets contractual specifications
• Maintains and updates project schedule
• Manages project budget and forecasts costs
• Identifies and mitigates potential overruns
• Coordinates with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing
• Marks progress against milestones, budget guidelines, and performance indicators
• Balances concurrent assignments as Project Manager
• Develops bid packages, evaluates bids, processes POs, and monitors vendors
• Selects vendors and manages external consultants and vendors

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical systems experience
• Minimum of six (6) years of technical systems experience, preferably in material-handling industry
• 30-50% travel as required
• System-level working knowledge of Mechanical, PLC Controls, and Software Engineering
• Experience with project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
