About the role

Join our collaborative team providing clients with award-winning planning, engineering, detailed design, project management, and overall project delivery. As a Senior Project Manager for Low Voltage and Technology in Austin, TX, you will drive collaboration, exceed expectations, and challenge the status quo. You’ll ensure project adherence to customer Information Technology standards and deliver construction technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to manage project requirements and meet schedules for Low Voltage needs.
• Negotiate with multiple client departments to achieve project cost and schedule goals while delivering solutions and compromise.
• Interface with customers for network connection solutions involving Security, Cameras, Wireless access points, Communication Rooms, Network Switches, Audio Visual Systems, and Real-time Location Systems.
• Define scope for multiple vendor-supplied equipment, including Cellular-RF amplifier radio systems, Business Automation Systems, and various Clinical systems.
• Familiarize yourself with Owner’s Design requirements and defend their implementation while overseeing vendors and General Contractors.
• Manage cost-effective solutions, avoiding over-design while honoring prudent use.
• Adhere to customer policies and processes without deviation.
• Oversee quality control inspections and documentation requirements.
• Act as a proactive team player, partnering with groups to solve problems and leveraging Subject Matter Experts for advice.
• Lead low voltage and technology solutions for client project activation activities.
• Manage site fiber optic backbones and multi-mode/single-mode distribution.
• Oversee copper infrastructure (Cat6/Cat6A) pathways, terminations, and testing.
• Ensure compliance with TIA/EIA, BICSI, and healthcare codes.
• Coordinate requirements for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for material deliveries to patient rooms, including IT network paths for seamless robot navigation and Wi-Fi handoffs.
• Lead vendor testing processes for fleet management software and elevator integration for robotics.
• Track project milestones, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Run coordination meetings with general contractors and hospital staff.

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT project management and installation experience.
• Proven low voltage system experience.
• Familiarity with Low Voltage network infrastructure, including (but not limited to) Backbone-Riser Network Communications Infrastructure, Network Wireless, Business Automation Systems, Security, Audio Visual, Fire Control, PCs, Printers, and Phone systems.
• Thorough understanding of BICSI Structured Network Cabling, verifying proper COPPER and FIBER installations while working with vendor RCDDs.
• Acquainted with Information Technology drawings, specifications, vendor-related submittals, and Request for Information (RFI) processes.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $144,600.00 to $230,000.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
