Overview
Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand their Land Development practice in their Richmond, VA office!
Responsibilities
- Leading a Land Development team
- Building and managing relationships with key clients
- Leadership responsibilities include:
- Operating with integrity and sound business principles
- Providing vision, business planning and strategy
- Establishing goals
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Having open communication with your partners and team
- Growing and leading a land development practice
- Managing and directing their projects profitably
- Transitioning work to qualified staff
- Growing and mentoring staff
- Acting as a positive leader and mentor
Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Able to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
