About the role

As a Senior Project Manager at Ware Malcomb, you will deliver innovative interior design projects from initial concept to construction. You will lead internal and external teams, be financially responsible for projects by adhering to budgets and workplans, and oversee the development of contract documents. As the primary client contact, your leadership and exceptional client service ensures project success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from start to finish as the project leader.
  • Utilize the company's resource groups for design, preparation of design and construction documents.
  • Provide construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).
  • Serve as the key contact with the client, their consultants, and representatives.
  • Conduct local, county, state, and federal project code searches and analysis for each project.
  • Ensure the financial success of all responsible projects.
  • Act as a technical resource (codes and construction) to other Ware Malcomb PM/PAs.
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and team members.
  • Mentor, train, and lead assigned team members.
  • Create and lead a positive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing corporate, workplace, retail, and/or commercial interior design projects.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Licensed Architect or in the licensure process required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.
