Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of industrial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower planning, and cost forecasting.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams including Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel.
- Cookordinate with Preconstruction, Operations, Owners, Design Teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, contract negotiations, and scope management.
- Manage project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, billing, contingency management, and profitability.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while driving schedule and budget performance.
- Manage and oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement tracking, and project documentation.
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, accountability, and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, contract requirements, quality expectations, and company policies.
- Participate in strategic planning and operational discussions related to project execution and resource planning.
- Mentor and develop junior project management staff and support team growth initiatives.
- Support successful project turnover, commissioning, punch list completion, and final documentation processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial and/or industrial construction projects.
- Strong industrial construction experience required, including manufacturing facilities, processing facilities, distribution centers, automotive, heavy industrial, or similar complex project types.
- Experience managing projects involving complex MEP systems and coordination strongly preferred.
- Prominent experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and fast-paced schedules.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control principles.
- Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading project teams.
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- OSHA knowledge and strong safety leadership mindset required.
