Senior Project Manager for Commercial Roofing

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with project estimators to review estimates and analyze the scope of each project along with determining what material is needed.
• Analyze project specifications from consulting/engineering firms.
• Review estimates in Google Excel and ask questions to the project estimator as needed.
• Review aerial images of the roof to identify potential problems that may arise during the scope of the project.
• Plan projects in advance to ensure all aspects of the project are allocated and scheduled accordingly.
• Budget for material and labor;
• Material ordering;
• Schedule and timelines;
• Safety plan;
• Drafting contracts for subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure quality work is being implemented upon company/industry standards;
• Ensure the written specifications are being implemented;
• Manage issues/problems that may arise during the project;
• Constantly verify that safety guidelines are being met upon OSHA and company compliance standards.
• Prepare and deliver various reports detailing the progress of each project to the company and customer.
• Communicate with staff, supervisors, and other parties about current projects.
• Discuss budgets and current financial status of the project;
• Plans and goals.
• Negotiate contracts when unexpected changes occur along with renegotiating contracts with contractors and subcontractors.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 Years of Work Experience in the Commercial Roofing industry is required
• Familiar with Details and Requirements related to the installation of the following roof systems:
• PVC, TPO, Modified Bitumen, and Asphalt Shingles
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish/English)

Travel

• Travel is expected for this position.
