Senior Project Manager - Federal Market

Responsibilities

  • Leading teams in all aspects of site/civil project design including site layout, site planning, grading, storm water management, erosion & sediment control, roadways, utilities, and permitting for diverse infrastructure projects.
  • Managing design for multiple projects simultaneously including project scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and quality.
  • Ability to work closely with clients and agency staff, including attendance at public and/or construction meetings and representing the company at other events as needed.
  • Preparing all associated calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Collaborating and managing design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
  • Conducting code research, writing specifications, and obtaining permitting.
  • Performing site visits and attending off-site meetings.
  • Managing construction administration services – RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, site visits etc.
  • Ability to support and/or lead cross-market projects and multi-functional tams for Dewberry's diverse client base.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 10-15 years' experience of increasing levels of project and client responsibilities.
  • North Carolina PE license.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft office.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.
  • In depth knowledge of the Federal market.
  • Strong client retention and new business development skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience managing a team of professionals with a wide array of skill sets.
  • Ability to provide technical expertise to design staff.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasional travel may be required.
