Senior Project Manager, Environmental Compliance

DFM is a local firm dedicated to providing red tape consulting services to the Real Estate Development and AEC industry. We are an organization that fosters a vibrant culture, thrives on energy, creativity, and growth. Due to recent growth, our client-focused firm is seeking to hire a full-time, Senior Project Manager to join our staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead EC Division's Due Diligence practice by completing business development work to find new business for Phase 1 ESA's, Phase 2 ESA's, PCA's, and subsurface investigation services
• Coordinate and oversee Phase 1&2 ESA, Subsurface Investigations, and PCA field inspections and final reporting
• Perform technical inspection work as needed
• Interview and make recommendations on new hires and independent contractors as workload increases
• Learn Salesforce to prepare and submit proposals to clients and follow up with potential clients
• Coordinate with other internal Division team members for Red Tape Due Diligence services
• Provide an extremely high level of service to clients to differentiate ourselves from industry competitors
• Aggressively network with decision-makers throughout the development, banking, and AEC industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of environmental consulting experience or PCA experience
• Phase 1 & 2 experience, Subsurface investigation experience, Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in training (EIT) preferred
• Valid Driver's License
• Physical ability to comfortably walk around active job sites in an efficient manner
• Proficient using a Windows Operations System and Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat)

Employees must be able to adhere to the physical demands described below. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk around active job sites, stopping, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, sitting for an extended period of time, and must be comfortable working in confined spaces after receiving proper training and certification.
