Senior Project Manager - Data Center Construction

About the role

The Senior Project Manager at RC Andersen, part of the STO Building Group, leads complex data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role involves partnering with field leadership, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and engineers, actively managing project performance, cost, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, develop, and manage project personnel, delegating responsibilities as needed
• Lead overall project execution, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Establish and implement project operating procedures
• Oversee development and management of project budgets and schedules
• Audit and monitor project activities from contract execution through closeout
• Manage procurement and approve material purchases, equipment rentals, and jobsite tools
• Communicate and negotiate with owners, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders
• Administer contracts, approve agreements, and costs associated with equipment, repairs, and subcontractor/vendor scope

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant construction project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of industry practices and trends
• Advanced interpersonal, communicative, and organizational skills
