About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee complex self-perform construction work while serving as a trusted partner to clients and a mentor to project teams. In this role, you will lead large, multifaceted projects from concept through completion—ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance are achieved. You won’t just manage from a distance; you’ll be actively engaged on job sites, supporting teams, solving problems in real time, and helping shape how work gets delivered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field required
  • Ten or more years’ experience in construction project management and related functions
  • Experience managing construction projects (typically $10M+) or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong background in self-perform construction, with hands-on understanding of how work is put in place
  • Confidence managing financials, including change orders, budgets, and contract considerations
  • Prowess in leading teams across multiple sites or scopes
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders
  • A field-first mindset—you prefer being where the work is happening
  • Ability to mentor and develop others, especially early-career project team members

Qualifications

  • Nice to have: Experience working directly with craft labor and self-perform crews, background in estimating or preconstruction, experience negotiating contracts and managing commercial risk, experience supporting campus-style or multi-phase projects, familiarity with industrial or mission-critical environments

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Pay

Anticipated salary range for this position is $145,000 - $165,000 annually.
