What You'll Do
As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of construction projects by leading planning, execution, customer communication, and financial performance while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.
- Develop comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies.
- Interpret project requirements and establish work plans that support successful project delivery.
- Monitor project performance and proactively address schedule, cost, and quality risks.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
Construction & Design Coordination
- Coordinate engineering, design consultants, geotechnical firms, civil engineers, architects, and specialty consultants throughout project development.
- Partner with Sales, Estimating, Preconstruction, Procurement, and Field Operations to ensure seamless project execution.
- Confirm product selections, specifications, and project scope prior to construction.
- Capture purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and owner contracts with internal teams.
- Aid in planning labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor resources to maximize project efficiency.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout construction.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through exceptional communication and service.
- Lead preconstruction meetings, progress meetings, owner updates, final walkthroughs, and project closeout meetings.
- Efficiently communicate project status, schedule updates, budget impacts, and potential risks.
Financial & Operational Performance
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Review project financial performance, labor utilization, schedules, and production progress.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, cost tracking, and reporting requirements.
Field Leadership & Team Development
- Collaborate closely with Field Project Managers, Superintendents, and construction teams to ensure consistent execution.
- Provide project-specific guidance on scope, sequencing, means and methods, and construction best practices.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams.
- Support the development of field personnel through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Promote a culture where safety is the highest priority.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal construction requirements.
- Maintain quality standards through proactive inspections and project oversight.
- Support continuous process improvements that strengthen operational consistency and project delivery.
