About the role
Winter Construction is hiring a Project Manager to join our Institutional group, managing K-12, Higher Ed, and Municipal projects in the Atlanta area.
Responsibilities
- Own project delivery from preconstruction through close-out
- Lead project teams and coordinate closely with field leadership
- Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and project documentation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders
- Identify and resolve project risks, coordination issues, and changes before they impact delivery
- Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance
- Build strong client relationships and help drive successful project outcomes
Requirements
- Established commercial GC background, with the majority of experience working for a general contractor
- Proven project management experience on K-12, higher education, or municipal projects
- Experience managing at least two $12M+ institutional projects at the PM level
- Hands-on responsibility for project schedule, budget, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and overall project delivery
- Based in the Atlanta area or open to relocation
