About the role

Our Program Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) team works seamlessly with clients to deliver projects and programs that achieve their goals. As a Senior Project Manager in Syracuse, NY; Auburn, NY; or Binghamton, NY, you’ll manage project development from conception through completion, ensuring projects run on time and within budget. You’ll provide construction oversight, resolve complex challenges, and apply proven project management techniques to reduce costs and add value for clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.
• Provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction-related challenges.
• Analyze and develop reports, meeting minutes, correspondences, project awards, invoices, and assist with project budgets, schedules, and controls.
• Apply effective project management techniques to reduce delivery costs and add client value.
• Manage multiple projects using established controls and procedures.
• Provide job site leadership in scheduling, safety, quality, and coordination with designers and critical stakeholders.
• Oversee the change order and cost review process, including contractor payment applications.
• Build and maintain client relationships through proactive leadership and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 8+ years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager on large-scale projects valued above $10 million.
• Experience with at least 3 projects involving Project Labor Agreements (PLA) in medium to large urban areas.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, safety, and quality management.
• Proficiency in the change order process and cost review, including contractor payment applications.
• Proven people leadership and client relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work on-site five days a week in Syracuse, NY or Binghamton, NY.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $124,800.00 to $145,600.00. Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
