Senior Project Manager

This role supports the design, delivery, and continuous evolution of electronic trading platforms within the institutional business, combining product management with hands-on project delivery in capital markets technology.
Tradeweb Technology roles are fully remote, with the option to use our Jersey City office for team meetings and collaboration. Occasional travel to the Jersey City office may be recommended for organizational offsites.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and management of products related to trading algorithms, user interfaces, networks, and cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Support and manage Fixed Income trading systems, optimizing for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, analysts, cybersecurity experts, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders across regions to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain proactive, transparent communication with senior management, clients, and cross-functional teams to align priorities and resolve issues.
- Lead the coordination, development, and enhancement of trading systems and algorithms, ensuring business and technical requirements are met.
- Partner with project sponsors to define objectives, build business cases, develop project charters, and manage resources, timelines, and risk.
- Lead the gathering, validation, and documentation of detailed requirements; review technical implementations for alignment with business goals and regulatory obligations.
- Manage projects end-to-end from ideation to production, ensuring quality, traceability, and timely completion.
- Monitor and mitigate project risks and dependencies, escalating as needed and driving resolution.
- Prepare and present updates, dashboards, and communications to stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive root cause analysis and process optimization to enhance efficiency, performance, and user experience.
- Define use cases, oversee business testing, and collaborate with QA teams for stable production releases.
- Partner with relationship management and client services teams to promote platform adoption and alignment with business needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of product plans, requirements, project artifacts, and risk management activities.
- Foster a collaborative, communicative, and professional team environment that values accountability and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in product management and project delivery within fintech, investment banking, or financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of trading algorithms, user interfaces, networks, and cybersecurity.
- Experience supporting and managing Fixed Income trading systems and workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of capital markets and electronic trading environments.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across business, technology, and operations teams in multiple regions.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments with frequent releases and evolving priorities.
- Technical proficiency with SQL, JIRA, MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated flexibility, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $175,000 to $225,000 per year for a regular, full-time schedule. The final offer will be determined by qualifications, market data, and internal guidelines. This role is also eligible for Tradeweb’s discretionary bonus program.
