Position Summary
The Ghoman Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction and renovation projects from planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining project budgets and schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction and renovation projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Cook up with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and profitability.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Manage subcontractor performance and maintain strong working relationships with project partners.
- Mentor and support junior project managers, project engineers, and field staff.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project controls.
- Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze project data, solve complex problems, and make sound decisions.
- OSHA knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Pay
$75,000 - $125,000 annually (based on experience)
