About the role
In this role within the Program Management Office (PMO), you will support large-scale financial services initiatives within the Investment Advisory Platform portfolio. You will lead multiple high-priority projects, ensuring their alignment with strategic business objectives. This is a full-time role with a focus on delivering high-impact projects that support strategic growth and client solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans aligned with strategic priorities.
- Coordinate efforts between internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, documentation, and refinement activities.
- Apply project management best practices and risk mitigation techniques throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deliverables on time.
- Manage project dependencies across various business and technology streams.
- Support project governance and decision-making processes with senior stakeholders.
- Build and nurture strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment.
- Drive effective communication among stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and quality metrics to ensure objectives are met.
- Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues promptly.
- Develop mitigation strategies and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Track, analyze, and report on project performance and progress.
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct project management experience in financial services or related industries.
- Proven ability to lead large, complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of project management techniques including risk and scope management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with client-facing and internal audiences.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid certification in project management.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting initiatives within an Investment Advisory or financial technology platform.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
- Prior experience working within a Program Management Office (PMO) environment.
- Leadership exposure to large-scale enterprise projects.
