About the role
T&G Constructors is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee and manage high-profile construction projects while also supervising and mentoring project teams. Working closely with Operations Management, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while strengthening client relationships and maintaining T&G’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall project administration in collaboration with Operations Management.
- Set project-specific objectives, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policies.
- Maintain direct communication with clients and vendors to facilitate smooth construction activities.
- Monitor construction progress, budget adherence, and contract compliance in coordination with Site Operations Managers.
- Analyze and resolve project challenges proactively.
- Review RFPs, attend pre-bid meetings, and prepare comprehensive estimates for assigned projects.
- Prepare and manage project schedules and financial forecasts.
- Represent T&G in project meetings, negotiations, and client discussions.
- Supervise and support assigned Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Coordinators, and Site Managers.
- Continuously develop professional knowledge and leadership skills.
- Auxiliary in business development activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction project management, including estimating, design, finance, and operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to optimize team performance.
- Deep understanding of industry standards, processes, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in project management software and general computer systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to excellence, teamwork, and safety.
