Senior Project Manager

About the Role

Rose International is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a utility industry client in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time, temporary position with an onsite work model and a 13-month estimated duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation
• Develop the project plan and drive project milestones
• Ensure projects meet agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures
• Establish an effective communication plan for the project team and key stakeholders
• Provide day-to-day direction to project resources
• Ensure effective change management throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, and budgets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• PMP certification required
• 8+ years of project management experience
• Proven track record of successful project delivery
• Experience managing the entire project lifecycle, from project definition through implementation
• Experience managing scope, cost, schedule, and quality
• Experience with change management throughout the project lifecycle (5+ years)
• Experience with process improvement (5+ years)

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing day-to-day direction to project resources
• Experience working effectively with project teams and key stakeholders
• Experience with project planning, negotiation, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving

Required Skills

• Strong project management and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

• Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word

Pay & Schedule

• Hourly Rate: $114.00
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Work Model: Onsite
