Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams and/or multiple project teams
• Plan, monitor, and report to ensure projects meet agreed-upon thresholds and objectives
• Ensure project performance, including financials, schedule, and quality
• Manage scope of work according to contract requirements
• Develop and maintain project management plans and schedules
• Create and maintain project budgets and estimates
• Create and manage risk management plans
• Manage risk registers and mitigation actions
• Ensure project quality requirements are met
• Perform document control functions for project files
• Collaborate with development, testing, and accounting for project awareness
• Ensure alignment of requirements, design documents, user manuals, administration manuals, release notes, and training documents
• Organize, facilitate, and record Scrum activities
• Lead requirements gathering and tracking processes
• Manage scope creep and assist with UAT, documentation, and deployments
• Perform resource planning and forecasting
• Coordinate day-to-day project tasks
• Resolve resource and delivery issues with Engineering
• Manage client interactions, attend and coordinate customer meetings, and follow up on opportunities
• Develop product demos and proposals
• Review and approve customer status reports and invoices
• Maintain and communicate project status to various stakeholders

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Agile development environments
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle and IT project phases
• 3+ years of ITIL and operation management methodology experience
• 5+ years of Intelligent Transportation Systems experience
• PMP Certification
• CSM Certification (plus)
