About the role
To support consistently excellent and high-quality delivery of projects for our Power, Generation and Transmission (PG&T) and Digital Infrastructure clients, Terracon has established a dedicated National Account Program/Project Management Office (PMO) to support Geotechnical Services, Environmental and Materials Services project delivery. This program provides a structured approach to project delivery by engaging local, regional, and national Terracon professionals with defined roles, standardized deliverables, and clear communication expectations. The intent is to enhance project delivery, consistency, improve coordination of Terracon resources (people and equipment), maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, improve communication between project teams and clients, and deliver a positive and consistently excellent client experience across all projects.
Terracon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as a key contributor to the Quality Project & Delivery (QP&D) team supporting the National Account Program/PMO and project delivery needs of PG&T clients.
Responsibilities
- Manages the delivery of medium to large environmental, geotechnical, and materials engineering projects supporting Power Generation & Transmission (PG&T) and Digital Infrastructure clients.
- Ensures successful project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and risk management, while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Leads multi-disciplinary projects through the project lifecycle (initiation through closeout).
- Partners with clients, National Account Managers, local, regional, and national Terracon professionals, and other stakeholders to define scope, budget, schedule, and other project deliverables.
- Manages project performance, including schedule and cost management, resource planning, and issue resolution.
- Champions safety, quality, and risk management in accordance with corporate policies and client requirements.
- Mentors and supports local, regional, and national professionals, including project managers and technical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' related experience.
- Professional registration (PE, PG, or equivalent) preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
