About the role
A US FUSION Senior Project Manager is responsible for executing the organization's most complex projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule performance, financial results, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safety Leadership: Promote and uphold safety standards, ensure compliance, identify and mitigate risks, participate in incident reviews, and lead problem-solving efforts.
- Project Leadership & Execution: Manage multiple projects, serve as the primary escalation point, develop and maintain project plans, coordinate activities, monitor progress, and facilitate project closeout.
- Financial Management: Maintain project profitability, establish and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost reports, identify financial risks, and lead financial reviews.
- Client & Business Development: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, support business development, and participate in proposal reviews and client presentations.
- Leadership & Organizational Development: Assist with project staffing, promote project management processes, support implementation of company initiatives, and assist in leadership meetings.
- Contract Administration & Risk Management: Review contract terms, manage contract compliance, identify risks, and collaborate with executive leadership on contractual matters.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of project management experience within heavy industrial, environmental, specialty civil, or related construction markets.
- Skills: Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contract administration; advanced organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project scheduling software; valid driver's license; TWIC Card preferred; OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred.
