Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Sr Project Manager will play a key part in advancing OXB's mission to enable life-changing therapies to reach patients around the world. Reporting to the Director, Programme Management, the role involves managing client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintains client/partner satisfaction to ensure successful long-term relationships.
• Understands client needs and identifies ongoing project opportunities.
• Ensures projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline, and budget, and project milestones are met.
• Identifies and mitigates project risks.
• Provides project updates and performance data to OXB Management for strategic and tactical decision-making.
• Manages financial aspects of the project, including forecasting, cost control, and determining scope, costings, and timelines for new and revised work packages.
• Aids in preparing proposals and contract negotiations for prospective clients.

Requirements

• Scientific degree or PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred Project Management qualification.
• Demonstrable experience using Project Management tools, methodologies, and techniques.
• Significant project management experience, including budgetary ownership, preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Good technical understanding of biopharmaceutical process development and manufacturing.
• Experience of working to external client deliverables.
• Experience of managing projects using MS Project & MS Excel.

Pay

$119,000 to $158,000.
