Senior Project Manager

About the role

Building Evolution is seeking a team member with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, architecture, construction technology, or a similar field. This role involves project management, collaboration with colleagues and clients, and providing technical expertise in high-performance building systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write reports detailing building components and energy efficiency measures to improve design and control for new and existing facilities.
• Perform on-site inspections and testing, including visual observation and diagnostic testing of building performance issues and enclosure/mechanical system failures.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and team members to progress projects, provide guidance, and solve problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in project management.
• Technical understanding of high-performance building mechanical and enclosure systems.
• Deep understanding of building science, including psychometrics as applied to building enclosures, building pressure dynamics, diagnostic testing, and interaction of HVAC and building enclosure systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, architecture, construction technology, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems commissioning and in-field troubleshooting is beneficial.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license to practice in Massachusetts (preferred).
• 5+ years of licensed experience in engineering HVAC systems (preferred).

Pay

Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000, commensurate with experience.
