Senior Project Manager
Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is a senior-level professional responsible for developing client relationships, managing and delivering engineering projects, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This role blends project leadership, business development, and technical expertise, offering flexibility in technical background and client types served, including municipal, DOT, and/or private.
Qualifications and Skills
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Wyoming and/or South Dakota Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including significant project management responsibility
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects from planning through completion
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- PREFERRED:
- Technical background may vary (e.g., transportation, water resources, water/wastewater, land or site development, or related fields)
- Experience serving a variety of client types (e.g. municipal, DOT, private)
- Experience contributing to business development, market growth, or service expansion efforts
- Comfortable working in a flexible, growth-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment
