About the role
Infinite Consulting Corp. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with extensive experience managing capital construction projects for the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC).
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Senior Project Manager overseeing multiple capital construction projects from initiation through final closeout.
- Manage projects in accordance with NYC procedures, City procurement requirements, and agency standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between client agencies, consultants, contractors, utility companies, and community stakeholders.
- Mentor, train, and support Construction Management staff to foster professional growth and project success.
- Oversee the operational and financial performance of assigned projects by ensuring appropriate staffing, managing project budgets and expenditures, maintaining profitability, forecasting resource needs, identifying organizational capacity gaps, and recommending staffing and resource solutions to support successful project delivery and the continued growth of the PM/CM division.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional project leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as RA, CCM, or PE are required.
- Professional certifications such as DBIA or PMP are preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of construction project management experience.
- Minimum 3 years managing projects for NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC) or serving as an owner's representative/consultant on DDC projects.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
- Experience managing public works projects from construction through closeout throughout New York City.
- Proven ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and project objectives.
- Strong understanding of NYC Public Agency project delivery methods, procurement processes, contract administration, and capital project management.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with agency executives, client representatives, elected officials, consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-profile public projects simultaneously.

Pay
The estimated salary for this position is $150,000-$250,000 Annually (Salary commensurate with experience and local cost of living.).
Schedule
Hybrid and occasional travel to active project sites to support project operations and attend in-person meetings.
