Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will manage all aspects of project materials procurement and fulfillment, coordinate material movements and reporting, interface with customers on project status, and oversee the workload of other project managers and assistants.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all aspects of assigned projects
• Provide superior customer service internally and externally
• Strategically source materials
• Help coordinate with the internal support team for order entry and item coding
• Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers
• Lead project-related conference calls and interact with all third parties involved in project management
• Provide reporting to the project management team
• Analyze and recommend areas for efficiency and advantage for DNOW and/or clients
• Facilitate expeditious movement of material and paperwork
• Support other Project Managers and Sales Assistants as workload permits
• Exceed customer expectations with 100% on-time deliveries and 100% order accuracy
• Maximize operating profits while gaining market share through superior customer service
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Strong pipe, valves, and fittings sourcing background
• 5+ years’ experience in project management and sales
• Oil & Gas knowledge preferred
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel and Word)
• Process, administrative, operations, and SAP experience is a plus
