Senior Project Manager

Location: Smithfield, RI – Full‑time permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall HVAC job scope on small and larger‑scale commercial projects.
• Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals to reflect contract drawings and specifications.
• Work with general contractors and job foremen to determine scheduling needs and provide relevant job information to ensure efficient field production.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Oversee the execution of all work, including quality and production, ensuring the crew works to job specifications.
• Provide follow‑up and closeout documents for completed jobs.
• Perform other tasks as required to ensure sound completion of assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in project or program management in the HVAC industry.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain technical involvement throughout the project life cycle.
• Experience with project‑management methodology, including budget development, project planning, project‑management software, and finance/accounting concepts.
• Ability to multi‑task and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Skill in simplifying communication of complex projects, including task assignments, milestones, work breakdown structures, and critical paths.
• Demonstrated excellence in inclusion, teamwork, collaboration, knowledge transfer/training, and positive working relationships.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and customers.
