Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex projects in the K-12 education sector within Southeast Michigan. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale educational technology projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including teachers, administrators, and vendors to ensure project success.
• Develop and maintain project plans, manage budgets, and track progress against milestones.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, including executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in an educational technology environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of educational technology trends and best practices.
• Experience working with school districts and educational institutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Experience with budgeting and financial management.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
